TelePhotos ("we", "our", or "the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our application. The short version: we don't collect any of your data.

2. Information We Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.

Specifically:

• No personal information (name, email, phone number) is collected.
• No usage analytics or telemetry data is gathered.
• No crash reports are sent to us.
• No advertising identifiers or tracking cookies are used.
• No third-party analytics SDKs are integrated.

3. How Your Data Is Handled

TelePhotos operates on a zero-knowledge architecture:

• Photos & Videos: Your media files are encrypted locally on your device using AES-256 encryption before being uploaded. They are stored exclusively in your personal Telegram Saved Messages.
• Encryption Keys: Your secret password and derived encryption keys never leave your device. We cannot access, view, or recover them.
• Telegram Authentication: Your Telegram credentials are processed directly by TDLib (Telegram Database Library) on your device. We never see, store, or have access to your login information.
• App Settings: All preferences and settings are stored locally on your device only.

4. Third-Party Services

TelePhotos uses the following third-party service:

• Telegram (via TDLib): Used for authentication and file storage in your Saved Messages. Your interaction with Telegram is governed by Telegram's Privacy Policy.

We do not integrate any other third-party services, advertising networks, or analytics platforms.

5. Data Storage & Security

All data remains under your control:

• Local data is stored in the app's private storage on your device.
• Encrypted backups are stored in your personal Telegram Saved Messages.
• No data is stored on any servers owned or operated by us.
• AES-256-CTR encryption with HMAC-SHA256 authentication ensures your backups remain private and tamper-proof.

6. Permissions

TelePhotos requests the following device permissions:

• Storage / Media Access: Required to read your photos and videos for backup and to save restored files.
• Internet: Required to communicate with Telegram's servers for upload and download operations.

These permissions are used solely for the app's core functionality and not for data collection.

7. Children's Privacy

TelePhotos does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. The App requires a Telegram account, which itself requires users to meet Telegram's minimum age requirements.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
